Lectures: 1. Types of sexual activity and control of estrous cycle in female. 2. Estrous cycle and infertility in mare. 3. Infertility and reproduction management in mares. 4. Estrous cycle and infertility in cow. 5. Infertility and reproduction management in cows. 6. Estrous cycle, infertility and reproduction management in ewes and goats. 7. Estrous cycle, infertility and reproduction management in sows. 8. Estrous cycle and infertility in bitch. 9. Infertility and interventions into reproduction in bitches. 10. Estrous cycle, infertility and interventions into reproduction in cats. 11. Assisted reproduction in vivo. 12. Assisted reproduction in vitro. 13. Fertilization, pregnancy and pregnancy diagnosis in domestic animals. 14. Free topic. Practical lessons: 1. Gynaecological examination and pregnancy diagnosis in mare I. Examination methods, interpretation of findings. 2. Gynaecological examination and pregnancy diagnosis in mare II. Methods of drug administrations, sampling for laboratory examination and demonstration of clinical examination. 3. Gynaecological examination and pregnancy diagnosis in cow I. Examination methods, methods of sampling and treatment, exercise of rectal palpation on exercise box. 4. Gynaecological examination and pregnancy diagnosis in cow II. Transrectal ultrasonographical examination (demonstration) and vaginal examination (exercise) and interpretation of findings. 5. Gynaecological examination and pregnancy diagnosis in sow, ewe and goat. Postmortal examination of reproductive organs, demonstration of the examination, interpretation of findings. 6. Gynaecological examination and pregnancy diagnosis in bitch and cat. Examination methods and interpretation of findings. 7. Credit test.

Learning outcomes
|
Content of theoretical part of teaching (lectures) includes physiology and pathology of sexual activity in females as well as fertilization, pregnancy and parturition. In addition it includes physiology and pathology of mammary gland, biological peculiarities of newborns, female sub/infertility, reproductive biotechnology and reproductive management in representative species of domestic animals (cattle, sheep, goat, horse, pig, dog, cat). Practical courses are directed to methodology and practical training of gynaecological examination as well as treatment of sub/infertility.
Orientation in physiological and pathological processes in reproduction of female domestic animals.
